Oscar Murillo: The black canvases that you see belong to a body of work that I have been developing since 2014. I started maybe a year before the Venice Biennale. The canvases on the beds or in the trenches were done in situ. They are more like drawings and refer to "existing in a transition of space", as it is, for example, in the case of flying.
